Myanmar Cruise Tour

Day 01: Yangon Arrival         (-/L/D)                   
Arrival Yangon Int’l Airport by Int’l flight. Meet and greet at airport and welcomed by our experienced English Speaking guide and transfer to hotel. Check – In hotel. Start Yangon City tour, Visit to Yangon Colonial style City Center and Sule Pagoda dating back over 2000 year ago. Then heading to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and visit  to the Shwedagon Pago at the cool evening: its golden stupa is the “heart”of Myanmar. Enjoy sunset at Pagoda. Drive back to hotel and Leisure. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon –Bagan F/D Excursion (By Flight/Car)     (B/L/D)      
Arrival at Bagan, visit to Nyaung U local market to learn about traditional and local way of life daily. And visit to Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype of later Myanmar stupa, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka secenes and Alodawpyi pagoda. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, check in hotel. And visit to Anada Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek cross and Thatbyinnyu temple. Enjoy the sunset from Shwe San Daw pagoda. Then transfer to restaurant by horse-cart (15mins) and enjoy the dinner with Myanmar traditional puppet show. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 3: Bagan (Check –in Luxury Cruise and Embarkation)     (B/L/D)    
Embark the ship before lunch; after continue the exploration of the archeological area. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Bagan – River Village     (B/L/D)                         
Explore some of Bagan’s local markets selling wood carvings, fabrics, longyis and rattan products. Visit a workshop to see the ancient techique of lacquer ware making. Alternatively guests can hire a horse cart or a bicycle and explore the site on their own (or) have a splendid Balloon Flight over Bagan (Surcharge applied – optional). Back to the ship around Noon and cast off. We cruise upstream all day. Stop at Shwe Pyi Thar Village for a walk. Dinner followed by a Puppet show performance in the village or sundeck.

Day 5: Sailing to Yandabo    (B/L/D)        
In the morning we arrive at Yandabo, a picturesque village that specializes in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the first Anglo-Burmese war signed on Feb.24, 1826. We go ashore for a walk stopping at some pot-making workshops and to visit the school and the monastery. We cruise upstream the rest of the day, moor overnight at Myin Mu jetty.

Day 6: Excursion at Monywa (Hpo-Win-Taung and Shwe-Ba-Taung Caves)          (B/L/D)
Early morning drive by coach (approx. 1 ½ hours) to Monywa to visit the Hpowindaung and Shwebadaung caves where hundreds of Buddha Statues are placed inside niches decorated with wonderful mural paintings dated back to the after lunch we visit the splendid Sambuddhai Katkyaw

Pagoda with its more than 500,000 Buddha images. Drive to Sagaing (2hrs) where we will rejoin the ship. Cruise upstream. Dinner and overnight one board.

Day 7: Extend to Mingun – Innwa(Ava) – Amarapura      (B/L/D)           
After an early breakfast visit Mingun the unfinished pagoda, the largest working bell in the world and the “home for the aged”. After lunch we explore Ava by horse-cart visiting the beautiful 200 year old teak Bagaya Kyaung Monastery, Nanmyin watchtower (27mt.high) and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung Monastery. We travel then by sampan and coach to Amarapura, the penultimate Burmese Royal Capital (1783) to visit U-Bein Bridge at sunset. Moor overnight at Sagaing. Dance and Theatre perfoormance on the Sundeck.

Day 8: Disembarkation and excursion Mandalay (Old Capital City)    (B/L/D)

After breakfast, disembark at Gawein jetty, pick the clients up by local guide and continue to the excursion around Mandalay to explore the former capitals of Amarapura and Mandalay. Witness the alms collection at Mahagandayon monastery, when over one-thousand monks gather gather to collect their daily meal from the local Buddhists. After this beautiful spectacle, continue to a nearby silk weaving workshop which produces exquisite handmade products. Shightseeing tour of Mandalay includes the highly revered Mahamyatmuni Pagoda; a gold leaf hammering craftshop, Shwenandaw Mondastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned as the world’s largest book for its 729 stone slabs containing the entire Buddhist Scriptures. Then visit Mandalay hill for a panoramic view over the city and Ayesarwaddy River. To call it a day at a bridge called U Bein which is 200 year old bridge is constructed entirely from teak and spans over 2 kilometers in length. You could enjoy sunset with the lake of Taung Tha Man. Overnight

Day 9: Inle Lake F/D Excursion (By Car/Boat)   (B/L/D)                            .
Your monring excursion in Inle Lake (by boat) visiting to the following place like unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty, fishing canoes using special methods for fishing and collecting seaweed, lakebed mud etc to make floating gardens. Then you will visit well known Nga Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat) monastery and Silver smith factory. Afternoon visit to Cheroot making factory, boat making carpentry workshop, silk weaving factory. In the late afternoon, visit the most famous Paungdaw Oo pagoda. On the way back to Nyaung Shwe you  will pass through some village to enjoy life on the lake. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins as well as life jacket) with snorkel guide and crews for land & Sea Trip. Overnight at hotel.

The Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers are subject to seasonal rises and falls of water level. In the case of water levels being too high or low an alternative itinerary will be offered to Passenger. Published itineraries are indication only and subject to sudden charge. In such events alternative itineraries will be provided and we do our best to ensure that if a stop is missed we make up for it with another stop. Though every effort will be made to ensure that published itinerary is followed as closely as possible, given uncertain river and other local conditions, all schedules and itineraries may be subject to alterations and delays at short notice. The ship’s manager and captain are jointly responsible for passengers ‘comfort and safety. Passengers must accept their decisions and instructions.
